Music suggestions

After headphones or another personal audio device is connected, the system can suggest opening the music app selected by the user.

Select an app

Go to uwuSettingsExt → Intelligence → Smart suggestions and select an app under Music suggestions. After selection, the system saves the target app and enables music suggestions.

Turning on the suggestion switch without selecting an actual app does not show music suggestions.

Use

After a supported audio device is connected, the overlay shows the selected music app's icon and a launch action. Tap it to open the app.

Supported devices include:

• Wired headphones and headsets.
• USB headsets.
• Bluetooth SCO or A2DP devices.
• BLE headphones, speakers, and broadcast devices.
• Hearing aids.

The same continuous connection does not trigger the suggestion repeatedly. It disappears automatically after about 30 seconds; disconnecting the device, disabling the feature, tapping, or swiping also ends the suggestion.

Scope

• The target app must be installed, have a launcher entry, and allow its icon to be read.
• The suggestion only opens the app; it does not start music playback automatically.
• Suggestions do not appear on the lock screen and are not replayed after unlocking.
• After changing the target music app, the new app is used the next time the conditions are met.
